We are a small in-home breeder of Bengals in Queensland, Australia. We have only 1 queen at the moment and one desexed ex queen. We will hopefully put our queen to stud early in 08 and have some divine kittens around the April/May 08
About Us:
We had a beautiful Rottweiler called Max, that we had had for 14 years. unfortunately he died of old age in November 2005. We were devastated and couldn’t bear the thought of another pet for a long time. Then a girlfriend of mine had a beautiful Siamese cat that died suddenly at only 12 months old, so we went looking for her new cat. While searching online I came across the “Bengal” and it was love at first site. My husband Mark took some convincing but in May 07 we got Danu who was to be a queen with Sheoak Bengals in Victoria, Australia, but due to them downsizing a bit I was able to purchase her as a pet. And the rest as they say is history.
Well she melted both mine & my husbands hearts and it was then that I decided that it was time to do something purely for us and the enhancement of the breed .
Bengals are breed that is extremely active and love attention. They will play with you for hours. They are also one that love the water. Danu will get into the washing up water if I leave the sink for too long, and she loves the dishwasher also for some reason. But the spa is her main enjoyment. I turn the tap on and let it drip slowly and she will play with it, sometimes taking a drink. I put the plug in and she gets into the water with a scrunchy and throws it around and has a ball. By then she is usually in quite a crazy mood and gets out and runs wild for a while. I guess it is a good way of her getting rid of all her energy without doing anything destructive.
